Stopmotion Project
I enjoyed this project, although I wish we had more than 1 week, like 2-3 weeks would've been nice. I have some experience from stop motion and would like to be able to be more ambitious in my output. Specifically exploring different types of stop motion in this project, combining 2D and 3D stop motion. I would've also liked to play with lighting, effects with 2D hand drawn animation. Figuring out how to condense my idea and simplify it was at first a struggle but I think I was pretty successful in the end.

Hi Jádé, combining 2D and 3D stop motion is really ambitious, and your final piece shows how much time you put into it. Anyone who's done stop motion knows how long it takes, and it really comes through in your work. You always experiment so deeply with materials, and I feel like I learn something every time I see what you make. Thanks for sharing!

DeleteJádé, the way that you were able to animate this, with an entirely thought out story, as well as unique characters and were able to create such a whimsical style to tell this story is so impressive! The way that you approached this project was so inspiring and I can tell that you not only had fun with it but put a lot of hard work into it!
